Maria Tildon Biography
Maria Tildon joined CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in September 2006 and serves as Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Community Affairs. She is responsible for managing all matters related to public policy, government relations, external and internal communications, strategic provider communications, and community outreach and giving.
Tildon is a member of both the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations and serves on several nonprofit boards, including Healthcare for the Homeless, the Greater Baltimore Committee, The Hippodrome Foundation, Capital Breast Care Center of Washington, D.C., The Park School of Baltimore, and the Hispanic College Fund.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Tildon earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law.
