Natalie Ludaway was elected to the Group Hospitalization and Medical Services, Inc. (GHMSI) Board of Trustees in January 2005 and the CareFirst, Inc. (CFI) Board in December 2006. She currently serves as Chair of GHMSI and Vice Chair of CFI.
She is the managing member of Leftwich & Ludaway, LLC. Leftwich & Ludaway is one of the oldest continuously operating, minority and woman owned law firms in Washington, D.C. The law firm represents a wide array of clients in complex, time-sensitive and high-profile matters. Ms. Ludaway’s legal practice is highly regarded for litigation matters, with an emphasis in commercial litigation. Ms. Ludaway is also regarded for her strategic approach in counseling clients on obtaining solutions to problems and the successful relationships between the government and the private sector. Her clients run the gamut from Fortune 50 corporations, financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, governmental entities, to individuals.
Ms. Ludaway received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with honors, and a Master of Arts Degree (Economics), from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She received her Juris Doctorate from George Washington University, National Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1986. Ms. Ludaway is a member of the bars of the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for Maryland.
Ms. Ludaway resides in the District of Columbia and is an active member of the community.
