General Information

What are my benefits?

Answer: The Dental Network provides all basic dental services for a minimal copayment. More comprehensive dental procedures such as dental surgery, crowns, bridges and root canal therapy are provided at reduced fees. Orthodontia is also covered for both children and adults at reduced fees.

How does my dental plan work?

Answer: When you enroll, you will receive a membership card and a detailed information packet. You will need to select a participating primary care dental provider as part of your enrollment. When you need care, just call your primary care dental provider and make an appointment. Be sure to take your card with you!

  • Your spouse or domestic partner
  • Your children up to the age of 26

What should I do if I move?

Answer: Please contact our Customer Service Department at 410-847-9060 or toll free at 888-833-8464. A Customer Service Representative will update your address.

ID Cards

Can I go to the dentist without my membership card?

Answer: Yes, simply contact your dental provider to schedule an appointment. The dental office will verify your coverage by calling The Dental Network Customer Service Department at 410-847-9060 or 888-833-8464.

After I enroll, when will I receive my membership card?

Answer: You will receive your card in about two weeks. If you need care and haven’t received your card yet, have your dental provider call The Dental Network Customer Service Department at 410-847-9060 or 888-833-8464.

Does everyone in my family get a membership card?

Answer: No. Each subscriber is mailed two cards, which include the names of all covered members.

Is there a plan dental provider in my area?

Answer: The Dental Network has contracted with dental care providers throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia. Check the provider directory for participating dental providers near your home or work.
